My role and work
Operated, maintained, and repaired 100+ remote-controlled electronic target systems, supporting exercises involving approximately 100–150 personnel. Worked from a dedicated central control and monitoring building, overseeing target equipment distributed across the training field and diagnosing hardware, electrical, and communication faults.
Performed electronics diagnostics, hardware repairs, and C/C++ embedded programming for target-control equipment, combining software and hardware troubleshooting to maintain system reliability and operational readiness.
Designed and implemented a long-distance lighting solution to improve field visibility, remote monitoring, and equipment repair during nighttime training exercises, accelerating low-light troubleshooting and repairs by up to 4×.
