MyUni is a multi-platform university communication and management system designed to connect students, faculty, administrators, and educational institutions through native iOS applications, web-based interfaces, and shared backend services.

  • Swift
  • Objective-C
  • iOS Application Development
  • UIKit

My role and work

As an iOS Engineer at Arm-BoldMind, I developed and progressively refactored the native iOS application from Objective-C to Swift, applying Model-View-Controller (MVC), modular architecture, SOLID principles, and reusable software components to improve code maintainability, scalability, and extensibility.

Integrated the application with C#/.NET backend services using RESTful APIs and socket-based real-time communication, implementing student–faculty messaging, group chats, email-based authentication, and push notifications.

Developed academic functionality including class schedules, university announcements, student reminders, event calendars, student profiles, course enrollment information, and digital learning resources, including PDF textbook viewing and a digital library.

Contributed to this long-term product through incremental feature development alongside other client projects, supporting multiple universities and future expansion into learning management capabilities.
